Crestwood Commons hosts free picnic for independent seniors

ElderWood Crestwood Commons and AAA of Western and Central New York will host a free picnic and open house for seniors interested in learning more about independent living. The picnic will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, June 18, at Crestwood Commons, 100 Crestwood Court, off Witmer Road, Wheatfield.

Visitors are welcome to enjoy hot dogs and lemonade, free gifts and games. AAA will offer free travel presentations and driving assessments.

Visitors can tour a patio home and apartment and learn more about the amenities offered at Crestwood Commons, including housekeeping, meal and maintenance services, security, trash collection, snow removal, transportation and opportunities to meet people and make friends.

Crestwood Commons independent living apartments and patio homes are available to rent on a month-to-month basis, with no up-front investment or association fees. In conjunction with this event, visitors who commit to a rental will receive free utilities for six months. Plus, AAA members may be eligible to receive up to $500 off moving costs.
