NBCs "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon"
(Monday-Friday, 12:35 a.m. ET) announces additions to its star-studded Bob
Marley tribute week beginning May 9. Keith Richards will stop by for a sit-down
interview, while Lauryn Hill will perform two of her favorite Bob Marley songs.
Legendary musician, author and actor Richards will sit down on Wednesday, May 11,
with Jimmy for an interview to discuss his New York Times bestselling
autobiography, "Life" and his upcoming appearance in "Pirates of the Caribbean:
On Stranger Tides."
In a rare TV appearance, Hill will take the "Late Night" stage on Thursday, May
12, to perform two of Marley's classic songs. Hill's rhymes and voice
catapulted her into the public eye as a member of the Fugees, and she later
established herself as a successful solo artist with her now classic debut "The
Miseducation of Lauryn Hill." A seven-time Grammy Award winning artist, Hill is
currently on tour across the country with her "Moving Target: Extended Intimate
Playdate Series."
Ziggy Marley kicks off the weeklong celebration of the legendary reggae
artist's musical legacy with a sit-down interview and performance on Monday,
May 9; Chris Cornell performs on Tuesday, May 10; on Wednesday, May 11,
Jennifer Hudson and Jakob Dylan each perform a Marley song; followed by Hill on
Thursday, May 12; Lenny Kravitz closes out the week on Friday, May 13.
