Proceeds to benefit Beechwood Continuing Care's 'Welcome Home' initiative

The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo welcomes Bob Newhart on Friday, April 1, at 8 p.m. in the Mainstage Theatre, located at the Center for the Arts, North Campus. The performance is presented by Beechwood Continuing Care and proceeds will benefit Beechwood's "Welcome Home" initiative.

Newhart's 50-year-plus career has spanned two successful television shows and 14 feature films. A true entertainment legend, he has sold millions of comedy albums worldwide and performs to sold-out crowds across the country. With his dry wit and wry smile, he continues to bring warmth and laughter to generations of fans.

Newhart is the recipient of many honors, including the prestigious "Mark Twain Prize for American Humor," presented by the Kennedy Center, and a designation as an "American Master" by PBS. Enjoy a hilarious evening of anecdotes, video clips, show biz stories, and the wit and humor that only Newhart can deliver.

This performance is presented by Beechwood Continuing Care, Western New York's premier not-for-profit senior care community and the first to spearhead the national movement for person-centered care and household living. Named "Welcome Home," this initiative focuses on enhancing as many aspects as possible - aspects that make Beechwood a true home for residents by ensuring they experience the best quality of life.

Tickets for Bob Newhart are $45.50. They are available at the center box office and all Ticketmaster locations, including ticketmaster.com. To charge tickets, call 1-800-745-3000. For more information, call 645-2787.
