Lockport Community Television, Lockport's public access station, is offering an orientation session from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15.

This free introductory session is mandatory for incoming community volunteers who would like to produce a cable TV program at LCTV or wish to volunteer on other productions. The training is offered to adults, 18 years and older, or teens, ages 15 to 17, and accompanied by an adult.

Public access offers individuals a unique opportunity to create their own television program and to broadcast them on a local cable system.

The session will include a general overview of LCTV eligibility, policies and procedures, a facility tour, an explanation of the training program and a question-and-answer segment.

Orientation will be held at the LCTV studios, 293 Niagara St., Lockport

To register for the orientation session or for more information, call 434-1733.
