CW23 WNLO will be searching for "America's Next Top Model" with open auditions from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA.
There is a chance that if selected, one of the local contestants could appear in future episodes of "America's Next Top Model," hosted by Tyra Banks. Buffalo is one of several cities across the country holding open auditions.

CW23 WNLO producers and videographers will be present to tape the auditions that will include a runway walk and interview. Producers from the highly rated CW network program are looking for a diverse group of enthusiastic females. CW23 WNLO staffers will forward the local audition tapes and applications to the network producers for review.

Females can audition in front of the camera and tell why they would like to become the ultimate top model. Candidates must be 18 to 27 years of age and at least 5 feet 7 inches in height. The open auditions are based on first come first served, however an extensive application must be filled out prior to arrival. Applications and eligibility requirements can be downloaded and printed from www.cw23.com and are available at CW23 WNLO studios located at 2077 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo.

In 2010, a Buffalo woman, Angelea Preston, finished in the top five on the show.
