Niagara Hospice has announced the availability of two paid summer internship opportunities for college students living in eastern Niagara County. The internships are made available through the Grigg Lewis Foundation's Workership Program, now in its 10th year.

Students interested in applying for a workership position must be a college student who will be returning to his or her studies in the fall of 2011, or a high school graduate who has been accepted at an accredited college for fall 2011.

A student with career goals in the human resources and/or marketing field will receive work experience through a workership at Niagara Hospice. This workership will expose the student to hospice care with emphasis on human resources and internal marketing.

The marketing and public relations intern position will play an integral part in the marketing and public relations functions of Niagara Hospice throughout the course of the summer. The intern in this position will help develop promotional and educational materials, participate in marketing and PR activities for Niagara Hospice that will include research and data compilation, and assist with community outreach initiatives and special events to help increase awareness and dollars for Niagara Hospice.

Applicants for these positions need not attend college in Niagara County. To apply, applicants are asked to visit the Careers page at www.NiagaraHospice.org for more information and application instructions. Or call 439-4417.
