15th annual Penn Dixie fundraiser at Romanello's

The Hamburg Natural History Society/Penn Dixie 15th annual fundraiser will be on Wednesday, Nov. 3, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Romanello's South Restaurant, 5793 S. Park Ave., Hamburg. This fundraiser is to help support the educational programs, events, and operations of the Penn Dixie Paleontological and Outdoor Education Center in Hamburg.

Silent and voice auctions will be conducted for a wide variety of valuable and unique items, including Buffalo Sabres tickets; Buffalo Bills tickets; Syracuse basketball tickets; a digital camera; large a Late Cretaceous Ammonite cephalopod; a Mount Ida, Ark., quartz specimen; gift certificates to restaurants; art work; a movie basket; Penn Dixie photos; geology tools; a variety of children's toys; gift baskets; gift certificates to restaurants and businesses; a lottery tree; holiday spirits; and much, much more. Door prizes will be drawn throughout the evening. Raffle drawings for four box seat tickets to a Buffalo Sabres-Toronto Maple Leafs hockey game and a $200 Gas Card will be drawn at the end of the voice auctions.

The public is invited. Bring your family, friends, and colleagues to an evening of spirited bidding and fun. This is a opportunity to select some early holiday gifts.

Silent auction begins at 7 p.m. sharp. Pre-sale tickets are $20 per person and $25 at the door. Admission includes hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, and a door prize ticket.

All pre-sale tickets will be entered in the door prize drawings for those who would like to support Penn Dixie, but cannot attend. Cash donations to help support Penn Dixie are also welcome. All donations are fully income tax deductible.
