Obit -- Scott W. Shipman

Scott W. Shipman, 50, of Buffalo, formerly of Grand Island, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, following a brief illness.

He was born June 26, 1960, in Williamsport, Pa., the son of the late Walter and Alice Shipman.

Shipman was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Scott was the beloved husband of Della Shipman; father of Scotty Hall; stepfather of Karly Luksch; brother of Lynette Toot of Williamsport; Terry Peau of Houston; Jason Shipman of Birmingham, Ala.; and Barbara Bowman of Texas; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Private services and burial are being held.
