Monday, July 5

  • Stolen vehicle report on the 2100 block of Mount Hope Road. Statement taken from a 45-year-old male; vehicle found on fire on Green Road. Investigation to continue.
  • Patrol assisted the Niagara County Sheriff's Department with a domestic incident on the 900 block of Lake Road. Situation addressed.
  • Aggravated harassment complaint on the 5300 block of Elm Drive. Statement taken from a male regarding an unknown suspect who informed the complainant he was a Homeland Security investigator who wanted to check the man's mailbox and perimeter for explosives. Report filed.
  • Trespassing complaint on the 4800 block of Eddy Drive West involving several people swimming in a pool after hours. Subjects gone on arrival.
  • Loud party complaint on the 300 block of South Seventh Street. Party shut down for the night.
  • Possible drunk driver westbound on Saunders Settlement Road. Call unfounded.
  • Patrol reports assisting NCSD on a reckless driver westbound on Saunders Settlement Road.
  • Larceny complaint on the 2500 block of Ridge Road. Statement taken from a male regarding an unknown suspect. Report filed.
  • Harassment complaint on the 5000 block of Callan Drive. Statement taken from a 37-year-old female regarding an unknown suspect. Report filed.
  • Domestic on the 500 block of Sherwood Court. Patrol spoke with a 48-year-old female and a 55-year-old male. Domestic Incident Report filed.
  • Aggravated harassment complaint on the 4600 block of Model City Road. Statement taken from a 20-year-old female regarding a 22-year-old male. Report filed.
  • Domestic on the 400 block of Onondaga Street. Patrol spoke with a 31-year-old male and a 30-year-old female. Domestic Incident Report filed.

Tuesday, July 6

  • Animal/dog problem on the 700 block of Mohawk Street. Situation resolved by patrol. Dog control officer not available.
  • Phone-in fraud complaint to LPD. Statement taken from a female. Investigation to continue; report filed.
  • Vehicle repossession on the 800 block of Foxwood Drive. Owner on location and aware of the situation.
  • Mental health response on the 600 block of Scovell Drive. A 30-year-old male was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center by Rural Metro Ambulance.
  • Patrol assisted State Police on a reckless driver complaint westbound on Saunders Settlement Road.
  • Attempted burglary on the 2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road. Patrol spoke with a 52-year-old male regarding an unknown suspect. Nothing taken and no report filed.
  • Numerous open container violations, with arrests made. Locations and suspects include: the 700 block of Cayuga Street - a 22-year-old male, a 21-year-old male, a 19-year-old female and a 27-year-old male; at South Seventh and Seneca streets - a 30-year-old male, a 26-year-old female and a 22-year-old male; at South Seventh and Cayuga streets - two males, both 25 years old; and at South Fourth and Cayuga streets - a 23-year-old male. Appearance tickets issued to all suspects for Lewiston Town Court. Reports filed.
  • Response for a fight at South Fourth and Seneca streets. Patrol dispersed a large group of youths.
  • Walk-in complaint at LPD pursuant to an earlier aggravated harassment complaint on the 4600 block of Model City Road. Statement taken from a 22-year-old male. Report filed.
  • Fireworks complaint on the 2000 block of Ridge Road. Male complainant stated an unknown person blew off fireworks towards his house.
  • Unwanted party on the 5800 block of Ward Road. Statement taken from a 33-year-old female regarding a male. Patrol reports no offense was committed; suspect went a neighbor's house then left the area.
  • DWI arrest; location not reported. Patrol reported the arrest of a 25-year-old male for driving with .08 of one percent or more of alcohol and Driving While Intoxicated. Vehicle towed and 12-hour hold placed. No further information. Report filed.
  • Domestic incident on the 400 block of Center Street. Statement taken from a 21-year-old male and a 19-year-old female. No charges at this time. Domestic Incident Report and patrol's report both filed.

Wednesday, July 7

  • Domestic on the 1200 block of Saunders Settlement Road. Statement taken from a 29-year-old male regarding a 31-year-old male who was brought back to the scene by State Police. Suspect placed under arrest and arraigned at Lewiston Town Court. Domestic Incident Report filed. Patrol's report to follow.
  • Check-the-welfare call on the 5000 block of Walmore Road for a possible overdose. Patrol reports assisting State Police with a 29-year-old male. Subject taken for treatment by Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire EMS.
  • Aggravated harassment complaint on the 1200 block of Saunders Settlement Road. Statement taken from a 39-year-old female regarding a 37-year-old male. No charges wished; report filed.
  • Officer requested on the 1200 block of Saunders Settlement Road. Statement taken from a 26-year-old female regarding a possible child abuse complaint that occurred in Niagara Falls. No further details.
  • Domestic incident on the 1900 block of Saunders Settlement Road. Statement taken from a 17-year-old male regarding a 38-year-old male. Subject placed under arrest for third-degree assault and appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.
  • Attempted burglary complaint at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine on the 1000 block of Swann Road. Statement taken from a 63-year-old male who reported a cash box was tampered with. Patrol reported the arrest of a 33-year-old male for attempted larceny/burglary. Suspect arraigned at Lewiston Town Court; bail of $10,000/$20,000 assigned and suspect remanded to the Niagara County Jail. A 2006 Chevy Trail Blazer was secured. Report filed.
  • Larceny complaint on the 400 block of East Lane. Statement taken from a 70-year-old female who reported a bank bag containing $150 in cash and a key were taken from a mailbox. Report filed.
  • Criminal mischief complaint/arrest on the 2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road. Statement taken from a 19-year-old male regarding an 18-year-old male suspect. Patrol reports the male was arrested on a public law offense of damage to a vehicle. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.
  • Welfare check on the 900 block of Balmer Road. Patrol reports a 17-year-old male was taken to ECMC via Rural Metro.
  • Harassment complaint on the 5800 block of Garlow Road. Statement taken from a 24-year-old male regarding a 39-year-old male. No charges wished. Report filed.

Thursday, July 8

  • Suspicious vehicle complaint on the 700 block of The Circle. Patrol advised of a silver pick-up, parked roadside, possibly involved in a drug transaction. Area checked with negative results.
  • Report of a suspicious male sleeping in the grass at Seneca Street and Portage Road. Patrol located a 42-year-old male and sent him on his way. All otherwise OK.
  • Reckless driver on the Robert Moses Parkway southbound. Patrol located a 2000 Chevy and reported an elderly male party as confused and disoriented. Driver given a ride home by NCSD and vehicle towed.
  • Check-the-welfare call of an elderly male walking up Lewiston hill. Area checked; subject gone on arrival.
  • Check-the-situation call of a male selling rugs at a church property on the Seneca Street side. Patrol reported he was selling his own collection; call cleared.
  • Call of a suspicious female walking around topless in a supermarket parking lot on the 900 block of Center Street. Patrol reported the female as gone on arrival; the party she was last seen with was advised.
  • Animal problem on the 900 block of Center Street of a dog left inside a vehicle. Area checked and vehicle gone on arrival.
  • Burglary complaint on the 2500 block of Upper Mountain Road. Statement taken from a 36-year-old male who reported his barn was broken into overnight via a window. Nothing found missing. Report filed.
  • Aggravated harassment complaint on the 5700 block of Lewiston Road. Statement taken from a 21-year-old male who reports receiving unwanted phone calls from an ex-girlfriend. Report filed.
  • Drug possession arrest in the Artpark lower parking lot. Appearance ticket for Lewiston Town Court issued to a 25-year-old male. Report filed.
  • Arrest for criminal sale of marijuana, fifth degree, at Artpark. Patrol reports the arrest of a 40-year-old male. Suspect arraigned at Lewiston Town Court; cash bail posted. Report filed.
  • Arrest for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the Artpark lower parking lot. Patrol reported the arrest of a 31-year-old female. Suspect arraigned at Lewiston Town Court; cash bail posted. Evidence secured in the Artpark lower parking lot. Report filed.

Friday, July 9

  • Aggravated harassment complaint on the 900 block of Pletcher Road. Statement taken from a 39-year-old male regarding a 39-year-old female. Subjects were reportedly arguing on Facebook. Report filed.
  • Patrol reports assisting New York State Parks Police on a missing person complaint. A male was located.
  • Patrol reported the arrest on a 21-year-old male on the 6000 block of Baer Road from an earlier incident. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.
  • Aggravated harassment complaint on the 1200 block of Saunders Settlement Road. Statement taken from a 39-year-old female regarding a 37-year-old male. Investigation to continue. Report filed and narrative added.
  • Suspicious person at a supermarket on the 900 block of Center Street. Subject reported waiting for a bus was taken to the Niagara Falls bus terminal.
  • Hit-run accident on the 5300 block of Military Road. Statement taken from a male who reported his parked vehicle was struck. Report filed.

Saturday, July 10

  • Noise complaint/people in the pool after hours on the 4800 block of Eddy Drive West. Patrol reports two subjects jumped the fence and fled on its arrival.
  • Assault complaint in the ER at DeGraff Memorial Hospital in North Tonawanda. Statement taken from a 32-year-old male who reported he was attacked by an unknown group of males on Green Road. Investigation to continue. Report filed.
  • One-car accident/DWI arrest; location not reported. Patrol reported the arrest of a 31-year-old female whose vehicle struck a pole. Subject not injured, but was intoxicated and taken into custody. Vehicle secured. No further details. Report filed.
  • Patrol reported the arrest of a 20-year-old male on a bench warrant out of Buffalo. Suspect arraigned at Porter Town Court, bail set at $250/$500, and suspect remanded to the Niagara County Jail. Report filed.
  • Criminal mischief complaint on the 500 block of Morgan Drive. Statement taken from a 66-year-old female regarding an unknown suspect in a red pickup. Report filed.
  • Patrol reports responding to a suicide involving a 57-year-old male on the 3500 block of Creek Road. NCSD handled the call.
  • Unwanted party on the 900 block of Upper Mountain Road. Statement taken from a female regarding a 37-year-old female. Suspect remanded to Niagara Falls Police for warrants.
  • Possible burglary on the 3000 block of Upper Mountain Road. Statement taken from a 42-year-old female who reports hearing a noise in the house. Building checked by patrol; all secure.
  • Check-the-welfare call for a male screaming on Route 425 near Niagara County Community College. Patrol located the subject walking, listening to his iPod and singing.
  • Father-son domestic incident on the 2300 block of Printup Road. State Police handled the call.

Sunday, July 11

  • Patrol reports assisting NCSD on a large fight, and on a loud party complaint, at separate addresses on the 300 block of Oak Street in Youngstown. Group dispersed on the first call; party shut down on the second.
  • Reckless driver complaint at a gas/convenience business on the 1300 block of Upper Mountain Road. Statement taken from a 55-year-old male regarding a red Jeep Cherokee whose driver struck a building and fled the scene. Patrol located a maroon vehicle with Alabama plates later on Green Road. Vehicle pulled over and two males fled the scene. K-9 unit searched with negative results. Vehicle secured. Patrol stated a 40-year-old female listed as the rightful owner had reported the vehicle as stolen. Statement taken.
  • Attempt-to-locate a vehicle from a drive-by shooting in Niagara Falls. Patrol located said vehicle at Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center on the 5300 block of Military Road with one victim. NFPD on location.
  • Report of a burglary in progress on the 1200 block of Saunders Settlement Road. Patrol reported the arrest of a 29-year-old male. Suspect arraigned later at Porter Town Court; bail of $50,000 assigned, and suspect remanded to the Niagara County Jail.
  • Reckless driver complaint on the 800 block of Oriole Lane. A 61-year-old male reported an ongoing problem of vehicles speeding and swerving around speed bumps.
