Reunited Tea Party headlining Molson Canal Concert Series
Preview by Joshua Maloni
Jeff Martin is no stranger to Lockport, having headlined a Molson Canal Concert Series show there in 2008. But when he returns this summer, he'll have a few friends along for the ride.
A reunited Tea Party highlights the summer show schedule. Martin and the popular Canadian band behind hit albums "Transmission," "Triptych" and "Seven Circles" will perform Friday, July 22.
"We are one of the first stops for these (reunion) shows," concert series spokesperson Kathy Paradowski said at a press conference.
Other headliners include Steven Page (formerly of Barenaked Ladies) on June 24, Dennis DeYoung (from Styx) on July 1, and Burton Cummings (of the original the Guess Who) on July 8.

Our Lady Peace headlines Hard Rock 'Saturdays'

Year two of the Hard Rock Café's "Saturdays at the Falls" concert series will begin with a bang as Toronto's Our Lady Peace headlines a Canada Day weekend show July 2. "We're just really looking forward to bringing more and more people downtown," Hard Rock Café, Niagara Falls USA, General Manager Dominic Verni said.
While OLP was wooed by other local outdoor music series, Hard Rock promoter David Taylor said the band felt the Old Falls Street venue "was a very attractive setting."

Buffalo readies for 'Thursday at the Rectangle'

"On June the 30th, we're moving 'Thursdays' to the waterfront," said Buffalo Place President and board Vice Chairman Anthony J. Colucci III at the summer concert series kickoff press conference. "We're going to do six consecutive Thursday nights at the waterfront," which he jokingly called "Thursday at the Rectangle."
