This program encourages shoppers to purchase a reusable bag with a special charity design for just $2.69, with $1 of the proceeds being donated back to five local community organization. Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announced 39-year-old Edward T. Turner of Buffalo pleaded guilty this morning before Erie County Court Judge Sheila A. DiTullio to one count of attempted robbery in the first degree and one count of robbery in the second degree (class "C" violent felonies).

Niagara County: Guilty verdict in murder case

Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced a Niagara County jury returned a guilty verdict in the murder case against Antonio Carr, age 30, of Niagara Falls, this afternoon. Carr was found guilty of murder in the second degree, as well as multiple weapons counts, in the slaying of 57-year-old Tracy Greene at the victim's barber shop in Niagara Falls on Oct. 2, 2021.
