Assemblyman John Ceretto, R-C-I-Lewiston, is applauding Tuesday's signing of the 2 percent agricultural assessment cap approved by Gov. Andrew Cuomo. This legislation, which Ceretto voted to pass in June, caps agricultural assessments at 2 percent, which will help reduce costs for New York's family farms.

The second annual RTB basketball tournament will be held at the Wilson School Gymnasium on Sunday, Oct. 27, beginning at 1 p.m. RTB stands for "Reason to Believe ... in each other."
