Appeal 2021 launches at Catholic Charities Russell J. Salvatore Food Pantry and Outreach

Appeal 2021 was launched Tuesday at Catholic Charities of Buffalo's Russell J. Salvatore Food Pantry and Outreach in Lackawanna with a goal of raising $10 million by June 30. This year's theme is "HOPE."

On Saturday, Jan. 16, Old Fort Niagara presents "Winter Warriors," a day of family-oriented programming focusing on how people survived on the 18th century frontier during the winter months. Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston will open Catholic Health's first monoclonal antibiotic therapy clinic for the treatment of COVID-19 beginning the week of Jan. 4. The outpatient clinic is designed for individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the previous 10 days, and are 65 years of age or older or have other chronic medical conditions that could lead to hospitalization.

Earlier this year, I acquired some local artwork from the Cary and Baker estate collections.
