The show was hosted by five-time NFL MVP and two-time Super Bowl champion Peyton Manning and aired live on ABC.

The Shins have announced new tour dates today, extending what is already a huge worldwide tour in support of their fifth studio album, "Heartworms." The additional dates include The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Sept. 29 with special guests Foxygen and Day Wave; plus Reno's Grand Sierra Resort and Casino on Oct. 7 with special guest Day Wave; and The Anthem in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 2 with special guest Baio.

3rd annual Red Nose Day raises over $35 million for children in need

The third annual Red Nose Day took place Thursday, concluding a six-week campaign of activity across the country. The campaign raised at least $35 million to help children in need, and has now raised more than $95 million in its first three years in the U.S. The donation total was calculated after the broadcast finished airing on the West Coast.
