Lawrence H. Cook II appointed to New York State Council on the Arts

Gov. Andrew Cuomo has appointed Lawrence H. Cook II, senior vice president of programs for The John R. Oishei Foundation, to the New York State Council on the Arts. Cook was one of nine new appointees to the 20-member board and one of two that will represent the Western New York Region. NYSCA preserves and advances the arts and culture throughout the state.
'Hamilton' tickets go on sale

Producer Jeffrey Seller, Shea's Performing Arts Center, and Albert Nocciolino recently announced that single tickets for "Hamilton" will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 9, at www.sheas.org and in person at Shea's box office. Tickets will be available for performances running from Dec. 14, 2021 through Jan. 2, 2022.
