The Center for the Arts, University at Buffalo, announces the 11th annual Ronald McDonald House charity holiday concert will be "Kenny Rogers The Gambler's Last Deal: Christmas & Hits," with special guest Linda Davis. The show is set for 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16. Tickets go on sale online at 10 a.m. Friday, with the box office opening at noon.

"Dancing with the Stars" is gearing up to celebrate its 25th season, and the new celebrity cast members are sparkling up their wardrobes, breaking in their dancing shoes and readying themselves for their first dance on the ballroom floor, as the season kicks off Monday, Sept. 18 (8-10:01 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network.

George Thorogood might be B-B-B-B-"Bad to the Bone," but he's not a bad performer. In fact, he's quite a good showman. On Tuesday at Artpark, he had the crowd in the palm of his hand, as he told stories in song and performed hit singles from the 1980s.

Tears for Fears might not rule the world, but they certainly reigned over Lewiston on Wednesday. Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith were in prime shape, singing and performing a slew of songs with the same vocal prowess, vim and vigor they displayed when first releasing their hits in the 1980s, '90s and early 2010s.

It's hard to believe, but it's been seven years since Tears for Fears performed in Niagara County. Such disbelief is due to the fact fans are still raving about the performance put on by Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith, recalling the Molson Canal Concert Series event in such vivid detail you'd swear it was last week.

"Live with Kelly and Ryan" visited Niagara Falls, Ontario, over the weekend, and filmed two shows Monday from the Oakes Garden Theatre. Panoramic views of the American and Horseshoe Falls provided the backdrop for both editions of "Live," and the hosts took time to explore some of the popular tourist attractions.

In the summer of 1979, artist Gene Davis (whose estate is held by the Smithsonian American Art Museum) installed artwork at Artpark titled "Niagara '79." The artwork came to be known as "The Painted Parking Lot," and guests said it was "incredible."
