Gov. Andrew Cuomo recently announced the launch of Excelsior Pass Plus to expand travel and commerce opportunities for New Yorkers. His team said this will enable compatibility between the state's Excelsior Pass platform, which has generated 3 million passes and provides digital proof of vaccination or negative test result, and the secure, globally recognized SMART Health Cards Framework developed by an international consortium called VCI.

Ron White will perform in the Seneca Niagara Events Center on Saturday, Aug. 21 (8 p.m.), and John Fogerty will rock the Seneca Allegany Events Center on Saturday, Aug. 28 (7 p.m.). Tickets for both shows go on-sale at 10 a.m. this Friday, July 16.

Genesis to perform in Buffalo

On Thursday, Genesis announced their highly anticipated return to North America for the first time in 14 years with "The Last Domino?" tour dates that will have Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford playing major cities across the U.S. and Canada this November and December. Kicking off at Chicago's United Center on Nov. 15, the group will be joined by Nic Collins on drums, and the band's long-time lead guitar and bass player Daryl Stuermer.
