Six Flags Darien Lake will rebrand its Splashtown waterpark to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, and launch a massive, new slide for the 2022 season. Towering a staggering 60 feet tall, Wahoo Wave will rank as one of the tallest water rides in the waterpark - and its one-of-a-kind "water wave wall" will boost the park's roster of heat-beating attractions.

The 42nd Empire State Winter Games (ESWG) Torch Relay kicks off Jan. 29 from two starting points, Buffalo and New York City, as the start of its six-day, 700-mile journey that will culminate in Lake Placid for the opening ceremony of the Feb. 3-6 Games. Higgins announces launch of federal website to request free at-home COVID-19 tests

Congressman Brian Higgins announced the federal government has launched a new website for Americans to request at-home COVID-19 test kits delivered to their homes free of charge. The website, www.covidtests.gov, is now live in beta test phase. The program officially launches on Wednesday. Residents can begin ordering their tests today.
