Jingle Falls USA: Festive holiday tradition spreading cheer in downtown Niagara Falls

The holiday season is just around the corner, and Niagara Falls USA is gearing up for a spectacular schedule of events to celebrate. A collaboration between Destination Niagara USA, the City of Niagara Falls, Niagara Falls State Park and the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute, Jingle Falls USA will kick off Friday, Nov. 24, with family-friendly activities at various locations throughout downtown Niagara Falls.

Some of the highlights of the festivities include:

Friday, Nov. 24

√ 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Crafts and educational programming at Niagara Falls State Park

√ 5:30-7p.m. Tree-lighting ceremony on Old Falls Street with live entertainment, an appearance by Santa, and fireworks courtesy of Niagara Falls State Park

Saturday, Nov. 25

√ 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The Niagara Scenic Trolley will provide free trolley rides between Goat Island and the corners of Old Falls Street and Rainbow Boulevard

√ 11 a.m.-4 p.m. LiveNF Makers Market at the Niagara Falls Convention Center: Shop a variety of local artisans and vendors, enjoy live music, art and concessions; admission is $1 per person (kids 12 and under are free)

√ 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Meet Santa Claus and enjoy craft-making and educational programming at Niagara Falls State Park

√ noon-5 p.m. Holiday happenings on Old Falls Street, including horse and carriage rides, a petting zoo, train rides, live entertainment and meet and greets with Santa and “Frozen” princesses; view an antique model train on display in the foyer of the Niagara Falls Convention Center

√ 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Gingerbread Wonderland at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute: Explore a life-sized gingerbread village, meet Santa, make crafts and enjoy live entertainment

Sunday, Nov. 26

√ 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The Niagara Scenic Trolley will provide free trolley rides between Goat Island and the corners of Old Falls Street and Rainbow Boulevard

√ 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Meet Santa Claus and enjoy craft-making and educational programming at Niagara Falls State Park

√ noon-5 p.m. Holiday happenings on Old Falls Street, including horse and carriage rides, alpacas, train rides, live entertainment and meet and greets with Santa and “Frozen” princesses; view an antique model train on display in the foyer of the Niagara Falls Convention Center

√ noon-4 p.m. Gingerbread Wonderland at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute: Explore a life-sized gingerbread village, meet Santa, make crafts and enjoy live entertainment

“Old Falls Street USA and the Niagara Falls Convention Center are proud to present free and low-cost holiday programming in downtown Niagara Falls to support local businesses in the winter months,” said John Percy, president and CEO of Destination Niagara USA, the organization that manages Old Falls Street USA and the Niagara Falls Convention Center. “We appreciate the support of our partners from the City of Niagara Falls, Niagara Falls State Park and the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute in making Jingle Falls USA a success.”

Parking will be free in the downtown corridor from Friday, Nov. 24, through Sunday, Nov. 26, courtesy of Niagara Falls State Park and the City of Niagara Falls. Locations include Niagara Falls State Park lots, surface lots, street parking, and the Rainbow Ramp.
