Erie Canal Harbor Development Corp. today announced an exciting concert lineup for summer 2015 on Buffalo's waterfront. This year, ECHDC is proud to announce that, with the support of its sponsors, Canalside will have 12 free Thursday concerts - two more than last year - that run from June 4 to Aug. 20.

The nearly 20-city run kicks off June 16 and will hit major U.S. cities across the nation. Artpark & Company's 2014 Broadway musical "Mary Poppins" has won three Broadway World Awards for the Buffalo region. The show took Best Musical honors, while Randy Kramer (Best Director in a Musical) and Emilie Renier (Best Actress in a Musical) also were recognized.

Michael McDonald will co-headline the final "Tuesdays in the Park" concert on Aug. 26. The singer with the distinctive baritone voice was the top draw in 2005 - the first year Artpark & Company went all-out to bring top talent to Lewiston - and drew more than 12,000 for a second appearance in 2008.

2012 was the year Heart offered one of the best "Tuesday in the Park" concerts in the Artpark series' storied history.
The Wilson sisters and their bandmates will look to equal or better that performance when Heart returns to Lewiston Tuesday to perform in the outdoor amphitheater.
