Academy Award nominee Elisabeth Shue will join the cast of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," as a series regular, on CBS. Her character will be introduced in the episode scheduled to air on Feb. 15, 2012.

Shue will play the newest CSI, fresh off an anger management course, amid rumors that D.B. Russell (Ted Danson) fired her when she worked for him in Seattle.

After Steve Jones announced that Francis and Astro received the fewest votes, judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, L.A. Reid and Scherzinger listened to the two finalists perform their "song for survival" and then eliminated Francis.
Regis headlines upcoming entertainment at Seneca casinos

The winter season is just around the corner, but the Seneca casinos are already "thinking spring" for entertainment. Blockbuster performances by Chicago, Regis Philbin, Loretta Lynn, The Moody Blues, Englebert Humperdinck and Travis Tritt are booked for March through June 2012.

Philbin, fresh off a break from "LlVE! with Regis and Kelly," resumes his other passion -- singing -- with a trip to Seneca Niagara Events Center on March 2 for an 8 p.m. show. Philbin will be accompanied by a 22-piece orchestra to perform standards such as "You Make Me Feel So Young" and "It Had to Be You." Tickets start at $40 and go on sale at noon on Monday, Dec. 5.

"Million Dollar Quartet" will engage in a series of special promotions and fundraising efforts that will benefit Operation Homefront, an organization that is dedicated to helping the families of this nation's service members and wounded warriors.

On Nov. 21, an iconic morning talk show will begin a new era. On "LIVE! with Kelly," Kelly Ripa will welcome as guest co-host comedy superstar Jerry Seinfeld. Seinfeld, a long-time friend of the show, will join Ripa for three shows, airing Nov. 21-23.

Among the guests stopping by to join Ripa and Seinfeld are actor Jason Segal, actress Kim Cattrall, comedian and host Howie Mandel, "Naked Chef" Jamie Oliver and the fabulous Miss Piggy.

"Jerry is a great friend of ours, and a friend of Kelly's, and it doesn't hurt that he's an entertainment icon," said executive producer Michael Gelman. "It's a great way to kick off the new beginning of our show."
