Rock Camp was held at Artpark from July 16-21. Young musicians, ages 10-14, performed hits by The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Weezer and more on July 21 on the Amphitheater stage at Artpark.

Santa Fe wins 'Best for Food'

Santa Fe was named "Best for Food" in the 2012 Rand McNally/USA Today "Best of the Road" competition. The New Mexico town topped five other destinations - including Lewiston - to take the title. The official announcement was made Tuesday afternoon as part of the Destination Marketing Association International annual convention in Seattle.

The "Road Bros," one of Rand McNally/USA Today's Best Small Towns in America travel teams, will receive a police escort down Center Street to a gathering at The Silo Restaurant. There, they'll find a "rousing welcome."

After a record number of votes were cast, Olcott Beach topped the leader board in WFN: World Fishing Network's "Ultimate Fishing Town" contest. The town will receive a $25,000 community donation to be used toward a fishing-related project, plus a fully produced feature story to be aired on WFN.
