Columbia Records announced "Show Pony," the eagerly awaited EP from country artist and songwriter Orville Peck. The self-produced, six-track EP is an evolution of Peck's debut album "Pony," which was released in March 2019, and features all new songs including a duet with reigning "Queen of Country Pop" and global icon Shania Twain, as well as a cover of Bobbie Gentry's "Fancy."

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation announced that, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it will replace its annual live induction ceremony with an exclusive HBO special honoring this year's Inductees. The program will be available on HBO and to stream on HBO Max on Saturday, Nov. 7 (8 p.m. ET/PT), and will replace the live 35th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony that was originally scheduled for May 2 of this year.

Country Music Hall of Famer, Grand Ole Opry member and southern rock legend Charlie Daniels passed away Monday morning at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tennessee. Doctors determined the cause of death was a hemorrhagic stroke. Daniels was 83.
