On Monday morning, Mount St. Mary’s Hospital welcomed – for the first time – the Sacred Heart Villa School Children’s Choir to perform as part of the hospital’s annual advent service. Students sang and danced as they cheerfully performed about a half-dozen holiday songs.
Mount St. Mary’s associates and volunteers gathered in the main lobby to watch. They welcomed the advent season through this special holiday tradition. Staffers also participated in a service titled, “Hope in the Return of Christ.”
Following prayers and the lighting of an advent candle, the large Mount St. Mary’s Christmas tree was crowned with a red ornament.
