English rockers return

For Lewiston concertgoers, Tuesday night was, well, a “Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy,” as Bad Company with Paul Rodgers headlined a concert at Artpark. The show was one of only two-dozen live dates for the band in 2019.

Bad Company (Rodgers, Howard Leese, Simon Kirke and Todd Ronning) performed for about 90 minutes. The set included a half-dozen hit songs, including “Can’t Get Enough of Your Love,” “Feel Like Makin’ Love,” “Shooting Star” and “Bad Company,” as well as choice covers of “All Along the Watchtower” (Bob Dylan/Jimi Hendricks) and “All Right Now” (Free).

Steve Rodgers opened the show and entertained the crowd of about 7,000 – one of the largest at Artpark this summer.

The 2019 “Tuesdays in the Park” concert series concludes on Aug. 27 with Foreigner. For more information, or for tickets, visit www.artpark.net, or stop by the box office at 450 S. Fourth St., Lewiston.
