Youngstown hosted its first Village Music Festival on Saturday, Aug. 3. The Falkner Park event was co-founded by Ray Barry of Barry Entertainment and offered a dozen bands, plus craft vendors, food, drinks and games.
Headliners included Sawyer Fredericks, who won NBC’s “The Voice” in 2015 (pictured below, and with his band at left); and Michael Glabicki, formerly of Rusted Root and now working with a new outfit called Uprooted.
This event was well-attended, with scores of people coming in throughout the afternoon and evening to watch one or more acts.
