Annual event returns to Center Street
What do meteorologists know, anyway?
Despite warnings of lions, tigers and bears – or at least a lot of rain – the entirety of A Taste of Lewiston was dry, warm and bright on Saturday.
The shining sun was appropriate, as this annual event serves as a spotlight on the village’s world-class restaurants. The festival showcases Lewiston’s master culinarians.
This year’s A Taste of Lewiston was coordinated and presented by the Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Lewiston Restaurant Group. The majority of village eateries participated, as did a smaller number of out-of-area vendors (which was by choice, as the festival is meant to be Lewiston-centric).
The “King of the Taste of Lewiston,” Joshua Maloni, walked and drove (via golf cart chariot) up and down Center Street, greeting guests and sampling cuisine.
