There were no war machines or ghetto scenes, but colored lights sure did hypnotize and sparkle in the audience's eyes as Burton Cummings, April Wine and Buffy Saint-Marie closed out the "Tuesday in the Park" season at Artpark. One of the largest crowds this summer came out to watch the show, billed as a night of Canadian Hall of Fame music.
Cummings, formerly of The Guess Who, and a frequent collaborator with fellow TGW alum Randy Bachman, was the headline performer. He shared stories, appreciation for the crowd size, and hit songs such as "American Woman," "No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature," "Clap for the Wolfman," "Laughing," "Stand Tall," "Guns, Guns, Guns," "These Eyes," "Share the Land" and "Louie Louie."
