Artpark announces opening concerts for popular summer series
Who's ready for summer? Artpark's 40th anniversary season is shaping up to be an eclectic celebration of art, theater, family, fun - and let's not forget the music. The popular summertime venue announced that rocker Billy Idol will ignite the summer concert season on June 4, kicking off "First Niagara presents Tuesday in the Park."
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts are slated to take the Outdoor Amphitheater stage on June 11.
Tickets for both events go on sale Friday, March 15, at 10 a.m. "Tuesday in the Park" tickets will be available in person at the Artpark Box Office (Monday to Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.), by phone at 716-754-4375 or 1-888-223-6000, and online at www.tickets.com and www.artpark.net.

General admission tickets for Billy Idol are $10 in advance and $15 when purchased the week of the show (Sunday, June 2-Tuesday, June 4). A limited number of $25 priority "Front of Stage" tickets are available for both shows.
