The Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce will honor 10 businesses and individuals at the annual Chamber Awards Gala on Friday, May 17, at the Niagara Falls Country Club in Lewiston. The annual awards gala includes an evening of live music, silent auction, wine on table donated by local wineries and businesses, and hors d'oeuvres followed by a sit-down dinner and awards program.
Tickets ($85 per person) are available through the chamber office (895 Center St., Lewiston).
The Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce will honor businesses and individuals in the following categories:
•Lewiston Business of the Year - The Brickyard B.B.Q. & Pub / Tin Pan Alley
•Youngstown Business of the Year - Melloni's Market Place
•Sanborn Business of the Year - Wendt's Propane and Oil
•Ransomville Business of the Year - Fillmore Chapel United Methodist Church
•Village of Lewiston Citizen of the Year - Dr. Jerry Mosey
•Town of Lewiston Citizen of the Year - Lewiston Volunteers of Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center
•Youngstown Citizen of the Year - Claudia Andres
•Town of Porter Citizen of the Year -William and Jean Siddall
•River Region Partnership Award - Tedesco Construction Services, Inc.
•Chamber of Commerce Chairman's Award - Artpark & Company
The awards are given based on leadership, dedication and achievement in the community. The businesses are chosen by their respective business associations, and citizens by the municipalities. The Chamber Awards Gala recognizes these businesses and citizens who help make this region a wonderful place to live and do business with.
The annual Chamber Awards Gala is open to the public to attend. The evening is one of the highlights of the year, held to celebrate the business community and those citizens who help contribute to the success of the region.
