'Disney Celebrates America: Nashville's Star-Spangled Bash,' hosted By Ryan Seacrest, reveals performance lineup

Celebration features must-see performances, fireworks; available live coast-to-coast Saturday, July 4, on ABC, Disney+, ESPN App, Freeform, FX, Hulu & NatGeo

ABC, the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp and ITV America Nashville announced Emmy Award-winning host Ryan Seacrest and the star-studded performer lineup of “Disney Celebrates America: Nashville’s Star-Spangled Bash,” a one-of-a-kind celebration with performances by iconic artists and musical acts spanning multiple genres, available live coast to coast Saturday, July 4 (8-11 p.m. EDT), on ABC, ABC News Live (which streams on Disney+ and Hulu), the ESPN app, Freeform, FX and NatGeo. 

Hundreds of thousands are expected to gather in-person in the heart of downtown Nashville for this milestone event, which will also feature one of the largest fireworks and drone shows in the U.S., set to a live score by the Grammy Award-winning Nashville Symphony. Adding to the magic will be coverage of the patriotic-themed fireworks displays at Disneyland Resort, which will light up this unforgettable evening.

Emily Ann Roberts will also serve as backstage correspondent, while comedian John Crist joins the show as the broadcast’s man-on-the-street reporter.

The special is part of an exciting lineup of broadcast moments, parks activities and community engagements for “Disney Celebrates America,” a companywide initiative honoring the 250th anniversary of the U.S., featuring unparalleled programming, activations and storytelling from across its iconic brands and businesses.

Beginning the evening of July 3 and continuing through July 4, ABC Entertainment, ABC News, ESPN and National Geographic will present an unparalleled cross-platform event, with a 24-hour broadcast spanning ABC, ABC News Live, Disney+, the ESPN app, Freeform, FX, Hulu, National Geographic and ABC Owned Television Stations and affiliates.
