Get ready for a night of Queen's greatest hits as Canada’s own Marc Martel, renowned for his stunning Freddie Mercury tribute, heads to the Avalon Theatre on Aug. 15. Martel, who has captivated audiences around the world with his uncanny resemblance to Mercury’s iconic voice, brings his own tribute to Queen’s legendary sound. Born in Montreal, Quebec, Martel is celebrated for his astonishing vocal resemblance to Mercury. His incredible talent and musical artistry have captivated millions. His legendary voice was featured in the 2018 Academy Award-winning film “Bohemian Rhapsody,” bringing Mercury’s iconic sound to life. Even Queen’s own drummer, Roger Taylor, praised Martel, saying, “That voice. You listen, close your eyes, and you think it’s Freddie. It’s really uncanny.”
