Free grandstand show on Aug. 6
Erie County Agricultural Society Press Release
The Erie County Fair welcomes the world-renowned Beatles band, 1964… The Tribute, performing live on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at the grandstand. This is the second announcement for the Channel 4 concert series.
1964… The Tribute is celebrated as the most authentic Beatles tribute band, recreating the early 1960s live Beatles experience with remarkable accuracy. Hailed by Rolling Stone Magazine as “The Best Beatles Tribute on Earth,” the band uses period instruments, vintage clothing, and the same onstage banter that the original Beatles were known for.
Since its inception in the early 1980s, 1964… The Tribute has been delighting audiences worldwide, performing to sold-out crowds at legendary venues such as Carnegie Hall and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Band members Mark Benson (John Lennon), Mac Ruffing (Paul McCartney), Doug Couture (George Harrison) and Joe Bologna (Ringo Starr) expertly recreate the magic and excitement of a Beatles concert, transporting audiences back to the early days of Beatlemania.
This performance is included with gate admission to the Erie County Fair. No additional ticket is required for entry to the grandstand. Tickets for gate admission will be available starting July 1 at www.ECFair.org. The venue will offer an online-only advance sale throughout July for $17 per ticket (fees included).
