Shea’s Performing Arts Center Press Release
“An Evening with Judy Collins” is coming to Shea’s 710 Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 21.
Singer/songwriter Collins continues to inspire audiences with sublime vocals, vulnerable songwriting, life triumphs, and a commitment to social activism. Since the 1960s, Collins has evoked idealism and steely determination of a generation united against social and environmental injustices.
With hits such as "Both Sides Now," "Send in the Clowns" and "Someday Soon," Collins has created an indelible mark in the world of music for six decades. Her landmark 1967 album, “Wildflowers,” entered into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Five decades later, Collins' luminescent presence shines brightly for new generations to experience as her iconic 50-album body of work continues to grow with the release of “Spellbound.”
