Press Release
Following his first Grammy nomination, Forrest Frank is kicking off 2025 with a powerful new single, “DROP!” Available now, Frank said the song is “about humility” and “how you start is how you finish." It sonically features his signature blend of hip-hop beats, strong melodies and, as always, a heartwarming message.
In addition to new music and the upcoming Grammy Awards, Frank is prepping for his 2025 "Child of God Tour Part 2." Featuring Elevation Rhythm in support, the tour will kick off March 27 and hit 26 markets across the U.S. and Canada. Tickets are on sale now via ForrestFrank.com.
2024 was a non-stop year for Frank, who, after being named Billboard’s Top New Christian Artist of 2023, released his genre debut “God Is Good” EP, which reached top 5 on the Top Christian Albums chart. In July, he offered his first full-length project, “Child of God,” which held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Christian Albums Chart for 14 weeks – making it the biggest Christian album debut of the year.
“Child of God” went on to give Frank his first Grammy-Award nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album, and a Billboard Music Award (BBMA) finalist spot following inaugural GMA Dove Award wins for New Artist of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year with album track "Good Day” (also named a BBMA finalist).
Last November, Frank released the “Child of God (Deluxe)” album featuring seven new tracks, including "Your Way's Better" and "Heaven On This Earth" with Torey D’Shaun, and a new holiday original, "The Present."
In addition to awards, album sales and radio hits, the momentum Frank has generated with his music is explained in the massive and continued growth on his socials, with a base that has boomed to nearly 5 million fans on Instagram, YouTube, X and TikTok alone, and nearly 6 million Spotify monthly listeners.
More about Forrest Frank
Frank acknowledges the weight of his words, deeds and actions within his artistry. The award-nominated, Texas-based singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist approaches life and music with gratitude and intent. This mindset underscores his music, and it’s why his Grammy-nominated “Child of God” was the best-selling Christian album of 2024.
The Houston-born 29-year-old, who’d temporarily put the idea of making solo music on the back burner to keep building on his band’s success, craved the freedom to make music just for himself again, and in 2021, a revelation inspired him to change course. Forrest opted to take a year off from touring, relocated to Waco, Texas, and became a father.
Working completely independently, his self-described “simple worship song” – the powerful “No Longer Bound” (feat. Hulvey) – opened up the floodgates, surging across social media, tallying north of 60.9 million Spotify streams and counting. He parlayed this momentum into “Child of God.” Beyond performing on all 20 tracks, Forrest helmed the production, crafting an immersive soundscape anchored by elements of bright R&B, upbeat pop, and uplifting gospel. Thematically, he clung to a core message.
“My whole brand was built around God, and I’m not going to change that – ever,” he affirmed.
“Child of God” soared to stratospheric heights upon arrival, capturing a Grammy nomination, a Billboard Music Award (BBMA) finalist spot, a #1 on the iTunes Overall Top Albums Chart, and within a few months’ time, tallied over 1 billion global streams. Given the runaway success, Billboard named Frank the top new Christian artist of 2023.
Concurrently, the signature “Child of God” became a Christian radio hit, also named a BBMA finalist and won a DOVE Award for Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year, with Frank winning for New Artist of the Year.
