Mini-golf team applications now open: Design & build for Erie County Fair

The Erie County Fair is looking to recruit teams to design and build miniature-golf holes for its second rendition of the Erie County Fairway exhibit! This free exhibit was considered a huge success at the 2024 event and saw thousands of visitors. To bring it to life in its second year, the Erie County Fair is asking the community for help to build upon its success.

Teams can be comprised of classrooms, 4H/FFA clubs, sports teams, businesses, or simply a group of people looking to get creative and support a beloved Western New York tradition – the Erie County Fair!

These groups are invited to create holes that are challenging, family-friendly, and centered on an agricultural or county fair theme. Teams will be responsible for the concept and construction, along with props, obstacles and decor. Basic materials for hole construction, including plywood, boards, turf and a hole cup, will be provided by the Erie County Fair. Each participating team will receive complimentary tickets to the 2025 event, along with recognition at the exhibit, online and via social media.

Participants will be notified upon selection. Materials will be picked up in early March and final holes will be due to the fairgrounds by June 20.
