“With the Buffalo Bills on a bye week and Thanksgiving the week after, we thought it would be a perfect time for folks to come see this famous upstate New Yorker,” said Byron Brown, president and CEO of Batavia Downs. “I know our patrons will be looking forward to her demonstrating her culinary skills and hearing stories about her time as a TV star.”
Hailing from Cazenovia, Anne is an American chef, television personality, and former instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. A graduate of Canisius College, she is the host of the Food Network show “Secrets of a Restaurant Chef” and co-host of “Worst Cooks in America.” She was also one of the “Iron Chefs” in the “Iron Chef America” series and appears on other programs on the network such as “The Best Thing I Ever Ate,” “Chopped” and “Chef Wanted.” Anne is an accomplished author, too, having written a New York Times best-selling cookbook.
