Some capital improvement projects are underway at the Niagara County Golf Course, but the course is still open to golfers as long as weather permits, according to Niagara County Legislator Rick Abbott. The county course is located on Davison Road in Lockport.
“I want to clear up any confusion and let people know they are still welcome at the golf course, but there is work underway that can cause some inconveniences,” he said.
Abbot noted the county is redoing the courtyard near the clubhouse and is renovating the restrooms, among other things. There are portable restrooms available and the restaurant is still serving food. He said the hope is to have the work completed before the 2025 golf season is in full swing.
“We have had great weather thus far and, as long as that continues, I encourage people to come out and play,” Abbott said.
