United Way of Greater Niagara has officially began accepting applications for program funding. Nonprofit agencies, located within Niagara County and/or the City of Tonawanda, that run youth focused programs, are eligible to apply.
“Our inaugural year with a new direction and mission was a tremendous success, thanks to the incredible support from our community,” said Andrea Gray, president & CEO. “We look forward to continuing this momentum and supporting services and innovative programs that make a real difference.”
Funding applications can be found online at https://uwgn.org/funding-guidelines-application/ and must be submitted by Oct. 31. Once programs have been selected, funding will begin in 2025.
A press release stated, “Contributions to United Way of Greater Niagara will sustain local nonprofit initiatives, nurturing a future generation that is motivated, empathetic, and prepared to address the challenges ahead. For more information, visit www.uwgn.org.”
