Fowler's Chocolates & FeedMore WNY join forces to sweeten lives and fight hunger

Turn every bite of sponge candy into an act of kindness

In recognition of National Sponge Candy Day, Fowler’s Chocolates – known as the original maker of Sponge Candy – has teamed up, once again, with FeedMore WNY to create a special opportunity for indulgence and generosity. Throughout September, for every pound of signature sponge candy sold in stores or online, Fowler's Chocolates will donate $1 to FeedMore WNY to support its mission of alleviating hunger in the region.

To encourage further community involvement, FeedMore WNY collection barrels are available in all Fowler’s store locations. Customers and supporters are invited to donate nonperishable food items in these barrels, supporting FeedMore WNY's ongoing efforts to provide nutritious food to individuals and families facing food insecurity. As an incentive, customers will save 10% on any purchase when they bring in a nonperishable item.

As the highlight of this collaboration, on Sponge Candy Day (Sept. 21), Fowler’s Chocolates will treat visitors at each of its stores to samples of Fowler's Chocolates' newest creation: Sponge Candy Bites, the same delectable sponge candy in delectable bite-size pieces. This partnership embodies the blend of community joy and support.
