All purchases from special-edition design support Buffalo family suffering loss

Press Release

Kingdom Bound Ministries has announced a special partnership with social good company 26 Shirts to promote the sale of a special design to support the family of Anna Wasson. The limited, special-edition “Be Kind” shirt and merchandise are available now through Friday, Aug. 2, at 26shirts.com.

Anna Wasson was a wife, mom of four children (Cooper, Alayna, Callie and Levi), faithful servant in her church, and nurse. In July 2021, she was diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma – a form of lung cancer caused by a genetic mutation. She fought valiantly until she passed suddenly two days after her 43rd birthday in May 2024. Her husband, Tim, has been left to care for the kids as a widowed single dad.

A GoFundMe campaign has been established to help the family meet their needs during this time: https://gofund.me/53d16f1d.

“It's an honor to collaborate with Kingdom Bound to raise funds for the Wassons,” said 26 Shirts founder Del Reid. “When Kingdom Bound reached out to us last year, I recognized it as a wonderful opportunity to provide support to a family in need while also expanding our philanthropic efforts to a new audience, encouraging them to join us in future endeavors."

Kingdom Bound Director of Experiences Mike Wing said, “We're grateful to be able to partner with 26 Shirts to help spread the message, 'Be Kind,' and also support the family who lives by that motto. The Wasson family lost their mother and wife but, with the help of 26 Shirts, we will show what it means to be a part of the City of Good Neighbors. We look forward to having the Wasson family with us this week at the Kingdom Bound Festival to surround them with a loving, caring and kind community, and bring some much-needed fun and encouragement.”

Kingdom Bound will host the Wasson family as special guests during the festival July 29-31. More information can be found at KingdomBound.org.
