Summer in Lewiston means music! The Lewiston Council on the Arts kicks off its free outdoor concert series this Monday, June 24.

"We have a stellar lineup of wonderful musicians, and are so excited to also present Shakespeare in Delaware Park's touring production of ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream,’ " LCA Executive Director Maria Fortuna Dean said. "There’s something for everyone, so come on out and enjoy some great music – and theater! – on our beautiful summer nights."

All performances run from 7-9 p.m. and take place in the Hennepin Park Gazebo, except for Shakespeare in the Park/Celtic Cross on July 29, which will be held at 6:30 p.m. in Academy Park.

•Monday, June 24: Maria Aurigema Band: A Lewiston favorite – don’t miss the return of this gutsy, hard-driving original blues guitarist and singer-songwriter.

•Monday, July 8: Win, Lose or Draw: The band awarded Top Blues Band in Buffalo is back together again!

•Monday, July 15: Miller & The Other Sinners: This nationally touring southern soul band from Buffalo brings a blend of gut bucket Delta grit, Memphis soul, gospel spirit and funky rhythm and blues.

•Monday, July 29: “A Midsummer Night's Tour” with Shakespeare and Delaware Park // Tom Keefer and Celtic Cross: A magical doubleheader! Music by Tom Keefer and Celtic Cross will "bookend" an hour-long-telling of Shakespeare's classic tale of the king and queen of the fairies, Oberon and Titania, and their sidekick in mischief, Puck, meddling with the lives of four confused lovers, and a ragtag troupe of would-be actors. Featuring: Isaiah Brown, Ayden Herreid, Katie Osborn, Lauren Teller and Norman Sham.

•Monday, Aug. 5: Tonemah: If the Eagles, Steve Earle, Dave Matthews and James Taylor had a lovechild, they would have named him Darryl Tonemah. Join Tonemah for a fantastic evening of "Native Americana."
