Erie County Agricultural Society Press Release

Get ready to rev those engines! Another year of exhilarating motor events are headed to the 2024 Erie County Fair this August. The motor event series at the Buffalo News Grandstand includes the following events:

•Free show – The 406 FMX High Air Tour will take the track on Tuesday, Aug. 13, with show times at 4 and 8 p.m. This freestyle motocross team brings in top riders from the X Games and Nitro Circus to pull off some of the biggest tricks in the world! This action-packed show will feature riders performing front flips on dirt bikes, backflips on UTV/RZR and more. The two 406 FMX High Air Tour shows are included with Erie County Fair admission; no ticket is required.

•The “Ultimate Night of Destruction” returns at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17. The night’s events will include the ever-popular bus demolition derbies with both large and small buses, along with a compact car double figure-8 racing championship. General admission tickets are $28.50 (includes fees) and free for children 12 and under; reserved box seating is $36.41 (includes fees) for all ages.

•The demolition derby returns Sunday, Aug. 18, with two show times: 1 and 6 p.m. The derby will welcome vehicles from across Western New York to the Erie County Fairgrounds to see who can outlast the rest. Cars must navigate the track to keep damage to a minimum in order to win the heat and make it to the finals to compete for the top spot. Reserved seating for the grandstand and general admission bleachers will be $31.89, while reserved box seating will be $39.80 (prices include fees).

Both the “Ultimate Night of Destruction” and the demolition derby events are produced by J.M. Motorsports Productions. For parties interested in participating, visit www.JMProductionsInc.com or call 716-648-5100.
