Lewiston’s love of tasty, deep-fried fish will be celebrated again next weekend.

Smeltfest will take place from 5-9 p.m. Friday, May 24, at the Griffon Brewery & Gastropub, 115 S. Water St. The event is hosted by the Upward Niagara Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Griffon and DiMino’s Lewiston Tops.

Smelt will be served for a nominal fee of $5.

In addition, there will be live music on the patio, from 6-9 p.m., with ’80s party band Invisible Touch.
