Rock show benefits library
The 30th annual Nancy Price Memorial 5K Race/Walk was held May 10 in Youngstown. This race raises money for the Nancy Price Scholarship.
The winner of the kid's fun run was Rhys Carpenter from Lewiston with a time of 3:48. After the kid's fun run, 100 runners participated in the race. The male winner was Nick Orlewski from Buffalo with a time of 16:30. The first-place female winner was Judy Musolino of North Tonawanda with a time of 21:54.
Also in Youngstown, Rock Angel Acoustic – with Maureen Gambino and Joe Gotta – put on a concert at the Ontario House to benefit the Youngstown Free Library. This well-attended evening of great live music raised $657. (Photos by Wayne Peters)
