With the projected weather forecast for rain for much of the afternoon and into the evening, Ransomville Speedway management made the decision to cancel the May 17 racing program.
The Sue Kulak Memorial for the KiPo Chevrolet Street Stocks, scheduled for May 17, will now take place Friday, May 24, as part of the full card of racing. The Krown Undercoating 358 Modifieds will be racing 9-lap qualifying heats in honor and memory of Bob McCreadie, who passed away Thursday, May 16. McCreadie was a five-time winner of the Summer Nationals and won a total of 10 Modified races at Ransomville in his Hall of Fame career.
The Sportsman heat lineups will be set based on “Test, Tune, and Time,” with the front row being locked in for the feature event.
Racing on May 24 will get underway at 7:15 p.m., with grandstand gates opening at 6 p.m., and pit gates opening at 5 p.m. For more information, follow us on social media and check the website at www.ransomvillespeedway.com.
