Press Release

Every year on or about Earth day, Rotary Club branches all around the Great Lakes make an effort to clean up the environment as part of the Great Lakes Watershed Cleanup. Hundreds of clubs and thousands of Rotary volunteers participated this year.

Not content to clean up just one country, the binational Lewiston/NOTL Rotary cleaned up the Niagara Shores Conservation Area that borders on Lake Ontario in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, on April 20 – the 86th anniversary of the chartering on the club – and also throughout the months of March and April cleaned a portion of the Greenway Trail in Lewiston.
