Astronaut Jeremy Hansen to appear throughout region

Leading up to the once-in-a-lifetime total solar eclipse in Niagara Falls, NASA will be in the destination to present free programming from subject matter experts, as well as appearances by astronaut Jeremy Hansen.
Originally from Ontario, Canada, Col. Hansen was a CF-18 fighter pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force. In May of 2009, he was selected as an astronaut candidate. He has been assigned as a mission specialist on the Artemis II later this month, and will become the first Canadian to ever venture to the moon.
Hansen will appear at the following locations throughout the week:
√ Saturday, April 6, from 11 a.m. to noon at the SUNY Niagara Fine Arts Auditorium, located at 3111 Saunders Settlement Road, Sanborn.
√ Saturday, April 6, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. at the Niagara Falls High School Performing Arts Center, located at 4455 Porter Road.
√ Sunday, April 7, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Buffalo Museum of Science, located at 1020 Humboldt Parkway.
√ Monday, April 8, from 10-11 a.m. at the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Welcome Center at Niagara Falls State Park.
The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Welcome Center at Niagara Falls State Park will also have NASA exhibits on display from Friday, April 5, through Monday, April 8 (from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
NASA subject matter experts will present free programming starting Thursday, April 4, at the Aquarium of Niagara, the Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center, the Niagara Power Vista, the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute, Niagara Falls Public Libraries and the Niagara Aerospace Museum.
