The Shamus Restaurant in Lockport will host “History Center Night” – to benefit the Niagara County Historical Society – on Wednesday, Feb. 28.
A press release stated, “In addition to savoring Shamus’ famous cuisine, guests will enjoy a pleasant, history-themed table activity called ‘Build the Transport that Built Niagara County.’ At the conclusion of the evening, Shamus will make a generous donation to the Historical Society.”
“Shamus has been hosting ‘History Center Night’ for several years,” said Melissa Dunlap, the Historical Society’s interim executive director. “We are grateful for their continuing support, and also pleased to have this annual opportunity to help people learn a little more about Niagara County’s past.”
Guests can make reservations by calling Shamus at 716-433-9809. The restaurant is located in a 19th century brick house at 98 West Ave., Lockport.
