Saturday’s event will honor community leaders & support women's health services
Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will present The Premier starting at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, 310 Fourth St., Niagara Falls.
A press release stated, “Marking a significant milestone, Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center is excited to host The Premier 2024, its annual black-tie event, on Jan. 20, at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. This year’s gala, themed ‘Gala of the Century’ and set against the backdrop of the ‘Roaring ’20s,’ celebrates a remarkable century of achievements and advancements by NFMMC.”
This year’s Premier will honor community leaders including the Rev. James J. Maher, C.M., president of Niagara University, who will receive the Nancy Gara Spirit Award; and Dr. Zubair Shaikh and Dr. Alicia Scott, who will both receive the Physician Award.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will be dedicated to enhancing NFMMC’s women's health services.
WGRZ-TV Channel 2 journalist and news anchor Maryalice Demler will host. The Downtown Band will provide live entertainment.
